Cookie Jar Ginger Snaps Recipe
 

13 c. Flour
6 T. Ginger
12 tsp. Soda
6 tsp. Cinnamon
3 tsp. Salt
1 1/2 c. Gold Label Molasses
6 Eggs
6 c. Sugar
4 1/2 c. Margarine or Butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream sugar and shortening until fluffy. Beat in eggs and molasses. Stir in dry ingredients. Blend well. Chill. Roll into balls and roll half in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees. (We like to make sandwich cookies with these. Also at Christmas dip half of baked cookie into melted white chocolate. Pretty and delicious. Keep in a cool place.)
