4 c. Chicken Broth
1½ c. Shredded Potatoes
4½ c. Shredded Carrots
1 Tbsp. Chicken Soup Base
1 c. Crushed Soda Crackers
½ c. Butter
¾ c. Flour
4 c. Milk
2 lb. Hamburger
¾ c. Chopped Onions
2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1 lb. Velveeta Cheese
Mix chicken broth, carrots,potatoes and chicken soup base in a 4-quart saucepan; cook until vegetables are tender.
Melt butter; add flour and let brown a little. Slowly and milk and heat until thick, stirring constantly. Add this to cooked vegetables.
Fry hamburger and onions together. Season with salt and pepper; add to soup.
Add Velveeta cheese and stir untl melted. Don't boil.
Yield: 4 quarts
