Blueberry Cream Pie Recipe

1 qt. Fresh or Frozen Blueberries 3/4 C. Water 1 C. Sugar 3 T. Cornstarch 2 T. Orange Juice 1- 8 oz. pkg. Cream Cheese 2 T. Sugar 1 - 9" Baked Deep Pie Shell 1 - 9 oz. Container Cool Whip
Simmer 1 cup of the berries in water for 3 to 4 minutes. Combine 1 cup sugar and cornstarch; add to cooking berries, stirring until syrup is thick and ruby clear. Stir in 1 tablespoon orange juice. Mix the other tablespoon of orange juice with cream cheese and 2 tablespoons sugar. Spread mixture on bottom of pie shell and cover it with 3 cups of fresh blueberries. Pour the blueberry mixture over that. Chill pie. Spread with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
