It's EXACTLY what it says:  Amish recipes scaled down to 2 people.  My husband LOVED the cheddar meatloaf and I am looking forward to trying more recipes in the book.  The only "negative" I have is the cake recipes.  They call for using 1/2 a cake mix but I will double the recipe and use an entire cake mix.  That's just me.  If you love Amish cooking and are a small or single household I would recommend this..  The food is simple and easy to prepare and you should have the ingredients in your pantry but they are easy to get at any grocery store.  SO.....all in all?  I am happy with my purchase.
